Earlier today, Niantic had announced the Adventure Week 2019 in Pokemon GO. Starting from June 4 at 1 p.m. PDT (June 5 at 4 a.m. GMT+8) until June 11 at 1 p.m. PDT (June 12 at 4 a.m. GMT+8), it is expected to see some rock-type Pokemon spawn more frequently in the wild, appearing from raids and rewarded from field research tasks and more.
Throughout this event, you will encounter an increase of rock-type Pokemon in the wild such as Geodude, Rhyhorn, Omantyte, Aron, Lileep, Anorith and more. You can also hatch Onix, Larvitar, Lileep, Anorith and Shieldon from 2km eggs. Special themed field research tasks will also be added.
The event bonuses include a 4x buddy candy when walking with your Pokemon. Make sure to turn on your Adventure Sync to make every step count. You will also earn 10x XP on your first spin of each Photo Disc when you visit NEW Pokestops. And lastly, trainers who have Adventure Sync activated and walk 50km will earn 50k Stardust and 15 rare candies.
