The Update 0.145.0 for Pokemon GO is slowly rolling out in iOS and Android devices. On the surface, it is just a “bug fix” release, but data miners have found some pretty coding under the hood.
The famous Pokemon GO data miner, Chrales has once again posted in his Twitter account. Two new moves and Jorachi encounter were found in the coding in the current 0.145.0 update.
Jirachi has been long speculated as the next special research or special encounter in Pokemon GO, and it seems those speculations might have be correct. In the Update 0.145.0 mentions and describes the Jirachi encounter as a special quest encounter.
The official Pokemon lore says this about Jirachi: “Jirachi will awaken from its sleep of a thousand years if you sing to it in a voice of purity. It is saod to make true any wish that people desire.” We are not sure if the encounter would have involve a mini-game with singing Pokemon or is the scene purely cosmetic, but in any case, you can stock up your singing Pokemon in your storage in order to prepare for the quest.
Besides that, there are also new moves such as Charm (Fairy) and Giga Impact (Normal) are found in the coding.
There is no confirmation from Niantic for now, but let’s hope for Jirachi to be awaken in the next update.
