The most anticipated film of the year has arrived. Well, Malaysia is one of the countries to release Avengers: Endgame two days earlier than the rest of the world. Even before screening, the movie had made RM 10 million for the advance ticket sales in Malaysia alone. This made Endgame the highest grossing film in Malaysia in terms of advance ticket sales.
On the opening night on Wednesday, April 24, Malaysians Marvel Fans lit up the sky near the iconic Kuala Lumpur Tower with 300 drones, showing the Avengers logo as the movie premiere. This also made into the Malaysia's Book of Records for "The Most Drones Used In A Light Show". Powering the drones was a technology developed by Intel. This event is partnered by Marvel Malaysia and Intel. 300 LED drones took flight and lit up the sky with a mesmerizing light display featuring icons such as Iron Man, Captain America, Thor and the Hulk.
Malaysians are invited to check out the full light show this Friday (April 26) near Kuala Lumpur Tower from 8 p.m. to 10 p.m.. Make sure to have your phone or camera pointing skyward, preferably around 200m to 300m away from the KL Tower for the best perspective.
If you still don't know what is Endgame, it is a culmination of 11 years and 22 films of story telling, and also the final chapter for the Infinity Saga in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
