Avengers: Endgame Just Passed Titanic At All Time Box Office

The biggest blockbuster of the year, Avengers: Endgame had just surpassed James Cameron's Titanic, placing second at the worldwide box office of all time at $2.19 billion.



The 22nd and the final chapter of Marvel Studios' Infinity Saga, Avengers Endgame had made $1.2 billion at the worldwide box office during its opening weekend, surpassed Avengers: Infinity War which had made $641 million in its opening weekend. But it does not just stop right there as Endgame continues to climb towards the top of the chart.


Since its release in 1997, Titanic has been holding solid at the second highest worldwide box office gross at $2.1875 billion. Everything has to come to an end right? Well, Avengers: Endgame had just took over the second place by breaking Titanic's box office record yesterday. Endgame had made a slightly $0.2 billion more than Titanic did in the past 22 years.


Just before the movie released, Fans had expected Endgame to break a $3 billion box office record. Well, we are few steps closer to that achievement now. Avengers: Endgame has only been released in theaters for a week and it has already made a total of $2.19 billion. This also make Endgame the fastest film to reach a $2 billion milestone in a worldwide box office.


Avengers: Endgame is now in theaters worldwide.
