Searching for research papers online is a frustrating work. But as a student, we have no way to avoid this troublesome 'work', unless you are going to just copy someone else's homework. But that's not how it works!
Searching for research papers is part of the academic especially when you are doing assignments or writing reports. To understand how something works, we need to refer to what others had already done - reading. Student usually look for references or papers online through Google search engine. Of course you can find what you are looking for, but most of the results required you to pay for it in order to download or read the content.
Who are willing to pay just only to get your assignments or reports done?
With iDiscover, you can access to multiple research papers, reports, journals and more for FREE. That's right, iDiscover is an online library for students to look for papers without having to pay for them. It is an initiative launched by Tunku Abdul Rahman University College (TARUC) in 2017 to allow its students and staff to get information for free.
Unfortunately, this service is ONLY available for TARUC-ians.
How to use iDiscover?
First, you have to go to the Library Homepage at www.tarc.edu.my/library or www.tarc.edu.my, then click 'Library' from the menu bar.
Make sure you click on the 'iDiscover' tab, and enter your keywords into the search box.
To access the full result of the content that you are looking for, you are required to login with your Student ID or Staff ID, similar to Student Intranet or Staff Portal.
